வவுனியாவில் தெற்கே சமணலங்குளம்.

ஈரற்பெரியகுளத்திற்கு மேற்காக.

கோயிற்குளத்துக்கு தெற்காக.

தமிழர்களின் மரபு வழித் தாயகம். தமிழர்கள் சமணர்களாக புத்தர்களாக சைவர்களாக வாழ்ந்தமை 2500 ஆண்டுகால வரலாறு.

சமணத் தமிழர்கள் வாழ்ந்த நிலத்துக்கு அருகே சமணலங்குளம். அங்கே புத்தர்களும் வாழ்ந்தார்கள் சைவர்களும் வாழ்ந்தார்கள்.

அழகான புத்த கோயிலைத் தமிழர்கள் கட்டியிருந்தார்கள். கலை வடிவம் கொண்ட பிள்ளையார் கோயில் தமிழர்களின் தொன்மை நெறி வடிவம்.

இரண்டும் அருகருகே. கல்லுமலைப் பிள்ளையார் கோயில். கல்லுமலைப் புத்தர் கோயில். 

தமிழரிடையே புத்த சமயம் வழக்கொழிந்தது. சைவ சமயம் வழக்கில் பெருகியது. புத்தர் கோயில் கேட்பாரற்றுக் கிடந்தது. பிள்ளையார் கோயில் வழிபாட்டுக்கு உரியதாகத் தொடர்கிறது. 

புத்த விகாரையின் தொன்மைச் சின்னங்கள் செங்கல் பாளங்களாக அழிந்த நிலையில் பிள்ளையார் கோயிலுக்கு அருகே.

இலங்கைத் தொல்பொருள் திணைக்களம் புத்த கோயிலையும் பிள்ளையார் கோவிலையும் தொன்மைச் சின்னங்களாக கருதியது.

தமிழரின் தொன்மைச் சின்னங்கள். பேணவும் பாதுகாக்கவும் இலங்கைத் தொல்பொருள் திணைக்களம் முயல்கிறது. புத்தர் கோயிலுக்கு எவரும் வழிபடப் போவதில்லை. பிள்ளையார் கோவிலுக்கு அடியவர்கள் வழிபடச் செல்கிறார்கள்.

பிள்ளையார் கோயில் திருப்பணிகள் காலத்துக்கு காலம் தொடர்கின்றன அண்மைக்காலத் திருப்பணிகள் நடைபெறுகின்றன. யாரும் தடை சொல்வதில்லை. திருப்பணிக்குரிய நிதித் தொகை வர வர திருத்தங்களைப் புதுப்பித்தலைப் பிள்ளையார் கோயிலார் செய்து வருகிறார்கள். தொல்பொருள் திணைக்களத்தார் தடுப்பதில்லை.

கல்லுமலையில் சைவருக்கும் புத்தருக்கும் இடையே கசப்பு உணர்வு உள்ளதாக ஊடகங்களில் வரும் செய்தி பொறுப்பற்ற செய்தி. தொல்பொருள் திணைக்களம் பிள்ளையார் கோயில் திருப்பணிகளைத் தடுக்கிறது என்ற செய்தியிலும் உண்மை இல்லை.

உலகத்தில் மூன்று இடங்களில் கல்லுமலைக் கோயில்கள் உள. 

1 இந்தியாவில் தமிழ்நாட்டில் மதுரைக்கு வடமேற்கே கல்லுமலை. அங்கே முருகனுக்கு அழகான கோயில் 

2 மலேசியாவில் கல்லுமலை. அங்கே முருகனுக்கு அழகான கோயில். 

3 இலங்கையில் வவுனியாவில் கல்லுமலை. பிள்ளையாருக்கு அழகான கோயில்.

சைவ அடியார்கள் இம்மூன்று கோயில்களிலும் எவ்விதத் தடைகள் இன்றித் திருப்பணி செய்கிறார்கள். வழிபாடு செய்கிறார்கள்.

புத்தருக்கும் சைவருக்கும் இடையே மோதலை உருவாக்கும் நோக்கத்தில் தொல்பொருள் திணைக்கத்தின் மேலாதிக்க நடவடிக்கை என ஊடகங்களில் செய்தி வந்ததே.

முற்று முழுக்கத் தவறான செய்தி. நல்லிணக்கத்தைக் குலைக்கும் செய்தி. வளர்ச்சியைத் திசை திருப்பும் செய்தி. மலிவான அரசியலுக்குப் பயன்படும் செய்தி. நம்பாதீர்கள்.

දෙමළ ජනතාවගේ සාම්ප්‍රදායික නිජබිම. දෙමළ ජනතාව වසර 2500ක් හෝ ඊට වැඩි කාලයක් ජෛන, බෞද්ධ සහ සයිවිකයන් ලෙස ජීවත් වී ඇත.

චමනලන්කුලම් යනු ජෛන දෙමළ ජනතාව ජීවත් වූ භූමිය අසල ය. බෞද්ධ සහ සයිවිකයන් ද එහි ජීවත් විය.

දෙමළ ජනතාව අලංකාර බෞද්ධ විහාරස්ථානයක් ඉදිකර තිබුණි. කලාත්මකව හැඩැති පිල්ලෙයාර් විහාරය දෙමළ ජනතාවගේ පුරාණ ආගමික ස්වරූපයයි.

දෙකම අසල ඇත. කල්ලුමලෙයි පිල්ලෙයාර් විහාරය. කල්ලුමලෙයි බුද්ධ විහාරය.

දෙමළ ජනතාව අතර බුද්ධාගම ජනප්‍රිය නොවීය. ශෛව ආගම ජනප්‍රියතාවයෙන් වැඩි විය. බෞද්ධ විහාරය හිමිකම් නොකියන ලදී. පිල්ලෙයාර් විහාරය තවමත් පූජනීය ස්ථානයක් ලෙස පවතී.

පිල්ලෙයාර් දේවාලය අසල බෞද්ධ විහාරස්ථානයේ පැරණි ස්මාරක ගඩොල් නටබුන් බවට පත් වී ඇත.

ශ්‍රී ලංකා පුරාවිද්‍යා දෙපාර්තමේන්තුව බෞද්ධ විහාරස්ථානය සහ පිල්ලෙයාර් දේවාලය පුරාණ ස්මාරක ලෙස සැලකීය.

දෙමළ ජනයාගේ පුරාණ ස්මාරක. ශ්‍රී ලංකා පුරාවිද්‍යා දෙපාර්තමේන්තුව ඒවා නඩත්තු කිරීමට සහ ආරක්ෂා කිරීමට උත්සාහ කරයි. කිසිවෙකු බෞද්ධ විහාරස්ථානයට වන්දනාමාන කිරීමට යන්නේ නැත. බැතිමතුන් පිල්ලෙයාර් දේවාලය වන්දනාමාන කිරීමට යති.

පිල්ලෙයාර් දේවාලයේ ප්‍රතිසංස්කරණ කටයුතු වරින් වර සිදුවෙමින් පවතී. මෑත කාලීන ප්‍රතිසංස්කරණ සිදුවෙමින් පවතී. කිසිවෙකු ඒවා නවත්වන්නේ නැත. ප්‍රතිසංස්කරණ සඳහා අරමුදල් ලැබෙන විට පිල්ලෙයාර් දේවාලයේ හිමිකරුවන් වෙනස්කම් සහ යාවත්කාලීන කිරීම් සිදු කරමින් සිටී. පුරාවිද්‍යා දෙපාර්තමේන්තුව ඒවා නවත්වන්නේ නැත.

කල්ලමලේ හි ශෛවයන් සහ බුදුවරුන් අතර අමනාපයක් ඇති බවට මාධ්‍යවල පළ වන පුවත වගකීම් විරහිත පුවතකි. පුරාවිද්‍යා දෙපාර්තමේන්තුව පිල්ලෙයාර් දේවාලය ප්‍රතිසංස්කරණය කිරීම වළක්වන බවට පළ වන පුවතේ කිසිදු සත්‍යතාවයක් නොමැත.

ලෝකයේ කල්ලමලේ දේවාල පිහිටා ඇති ස්ථාන තුනක් තිබේ.

1 ඉන්දියාවේ තමිල්නාඩුවේ මධුරෙයි නගරයට වයඹ දෙසින් පිහිටි කල්ලුමලෙයි. එහි මුරුගන්ගේ අලංකාර දේවාලයක් ඇත.

2 මැලේසියාවේ කල්ලුමලෙයි. එහි මුරුගන්ගේ අලංකාර දේවාලයක් ඇත.

3 ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේ වවුනියාවේ කල්ලුමලෙයි. පිල්ලෙයාර්ගේ අලංකාර දේවාලයක්.

ශෛව භක්තිකයන් කිසිදු බාධාවකින් තොරව විහාරස්ථාන තුනෙහිම ප්‍රතිසංස්කරණ කටයුතු සිදු කරයි. ඔවුන් වන්දනාමාන කරති.

බුද්ධ හා ශෛව අතර ගැටුමක් ඇති කිරීමේ අරමුණින් පුරාවිද්‍යා දෙපාර්තමේන්තුව ආධිපත්‍යය දරන ක්‍රියාමාර්ගයක් ගනිමින් සිටින බව මාධ්‍ය වාර්තා කර ඇත.

සම්පූර්ණයෙන්ම වැරදි පුවත්. සමගිය කඩාකප්පල් කරන පුවත්. සංවර්ධනය වෙනතකට යොමු කරන පුවත්. ලාභ දේශපාලනය සඳහා භාවිතා කරන පුවත්. එය විශ්වාස නොකරන්න.

The traditional homeland of the Tamils. Tamils have lived as Jains, Buddhists and Saivites for 2500 years or more.

Chamanalankulam is near the land where the Jain Tamils lived. Buddhists and Saivites also lived there.

The Tamils had built a beautiful Buddhist temple. The artistically shaped Pillayar Temple is the ancient religious form of the Tamils.

Both are nearby. Kallumalai Pillayar Temple. Kallumalai Buddha Temple.

Buddhism became un-popular among the Tamils. Saivism increased in popularity. The Buddhist temple was left unclaimed. The Pillaiyar temple continues to be a place of worship.

The ancient monuments of the Buddhist temple have been reduced to brick ruins near the Pillaiyar temple.

The Department of Archaeology of Sri Lanka considered the Buddhist temple and the Pillaiyar temple as ancient monuments.

Ancient monuments of the Tamils. The Department of Archaeology of Sri Lanka is trying to maintain and protect them. No one goes to worship at the Buddhist temple. Devotees go to worship at the Pillaiyar temple.

The renovations of the Pillaiyar temple continue from time to time. Recent renovations are taking place. No one is stopping them. The Pillaiyar temple owners are making changes and updates as the funds for the renovations come in. The Department of Archaeology does not stop them.

The news in the media that there is bitterness between the Saivas and the Buddhas in Kallumalai is irresponsible news. There is no truth in the news that the Department of Archaeology is preventing the renovation of the Pillaiyar Temple.

There are three places in the world where Kallumalai temples are located.

1 Kallumalai in Tamil Nadu, India, northwest of Madurai. There is a beautiful temple of Murugan there.

2 Kallumalai in Malaysia. There is a beautiful temple of Murugan there.

3 Kallumalai in Vavuniya, Sri Lanka. A beautiful temple of Pillaiyar.

Saiva devotees are performing renovations in all three temples without any hindrance. They worship.

The media has reported that the Department of Archaeology is taking a domineering action with the aim of creating a conflict between Buddha and Saiva.

Completely wrong news. News that disrupts harmony. News that diverts development. News that is used for cheap politics. Do not believe it.
