Sri Lankan Saiva-Tamil society need young enthusiastic spiritually oriented committed leaders. 

The post war anxiety and helplessness are consequences of the humiliating defeat in the war. 

The vulnerable groups among the Saiva Tamil society are becoming easy pray for evangelists and love jihadis.

Empowering Saiva Tamil youth is to meet these challenges by building a defence wall to prevent these aggressive evangelists and intruding jehadis.

Chinmaya Mission in Chennai Tamil Nadu India is willing to train the youth in empowerment continuously for batches of 10 at a time. 

After the training they will continuously monitor the trained youth for 1 year in their work towards empowering the Saiva Tamil society.

Guided by Siva Senai chief, Mr Maravanpulavu K. Sachithananthan who went to Chennai to negotiate with the Chinmaya mission for the training program, I went village by village to select 8 potential participants in the training program. 

They are all from the Vauvniya district of Sri Lanka. There are 103 village administrative (nilathari) units in the district. I have chosen few niladhari units in three divisional secretary's areas.

The following is the list of the participants. Each participant will require LKR 100,000 to meet the air travel cost, visa fees and incidental expenses related to travel.

This Youth Empowerment Programme is organised by Chinmaya Mission, Chennai under the tutelage of Swami Mitrananda and Swami Anukoolananda.

Most of the training will happen in Chinmaya Mission, Chennai and in a few centres around.  The training will be for 75 days after which the youngsters will serve for a year in Sri Lanka. 

Their expenses in India during the training will be totally taken up by Chinmaya Mission, Chennai. 

Expected date of departure at Colombo

October 18th 2022 

Expected date of arrival in Colombo 

18th January 2023.

Once we cap up LKR 800,000, we will announce the so that they19th Oct 2022

 will be no more funding. By October 10th we expect the entire funds to be received.

The entire amount of rupees LKR 800,000 will be sent direct by the sponsors to the travel agent.

Conceptualised planned negotiated and progressively implemented by Siva Senai chief Maravanpulavu K Sachithananthan, this training program hopefully becomes a continuous aspect of Saiva Tamil revival and Saiva Tamil empowerment in the 103 nilathari units of Vavuniya district.

Training the Youth in Empowerment

Sri Lankan Saiva-Tamil society need young enthusiastic spiritually oriented committed leaders.

Chinmaya Mission in Chennai Tamil Nadu India is willing to train the youth in empowerment for 10 youth during Nov 10th, 2022 to Jan 14th, 2023. This Youth Empowerment Programme is organised by Chinmaya Mission, Chennai under the tutelage of Swami Mitrananda and Swami Anukoolananda. Their expenses in India during the training will be totally taken up by Chinmaya Mission, Chennai.
