2000 years ago, through Pari padal verse, Mamoolanar guided me

"....we seek ...

......Love virtue and moralty.."

Buddha taught virtue

Showed the way

However, some Buddhist monks did not follow the path of Buddha

You are the seniors in Buddhism

Guide the Buddhist monks to follow the path of Buddha

This is the request I have been making to the Buddhist leaders

Bring a law banning cow slaughter

Bring anti conversion law

Bring a one country, one law

Everyone born in Sri Lanka should be given names in Sri Lankan languages Bring a law that does not allow naming of persons and places in other languages

Give priority to Saivism, the cultural base since historical periods, in the constitution

Even during the Buddha's lifetime,

the Vajji monks

started to make their own code

Their violations of the rules went to the extent of celebrating the death of Buddha.

The first Sangha under the guidance of Kasyappar

The second Sangha of Ajadachatru

The third Sangha of Ashoka

and the fourth Sangha of Vatagamini in Sri Lanka

all arose for Buddhist monks who violated the ethical codes.

To regulate the rebellious activities of the Buddhist monks, those,

Parakramabahus,

Vijayabahus,

Bhuvanegabahus,

have written down the codes of conduct from time to time as inscriptions, copper plates, and books.

In your time too, put such codes into practice in accordance with the times.

Bring the rebellious Buddhist monks under control in the ways indicated in the Dhammapatha lines.

I have come on behalf of the Hindus in Sri Lanka.

Since the historical period from when the Buddha came to Sri Lanka,

the Hindus of Sri Lanka have cooperated in the growth of Buddhism in Sri Lanka.

In 1915, when the British-Mohammedan coalition was trying to destroy Buddhism in Sri Lanka,

Ponnambalam Ramanathan was the one who took action to protect the Buddhist monks,

Buddhist religion,

Buddhist practices in Sri Lanka.

He released 5000 Buddhist leaders from prison and

He sent back the treacherous governor.

Buddhism in Sri Lanka today has its

The life given by Ponnambalam Ramanathan, who entered the assembly on behalf of the Hindus.

Hindus and Buddhists are the same kind of lotus flowers that bloom in the same pond.

The Kataragama theiyo

The Pillaiyar as Gana theiyo

Lord Shiva

Are housed in almost all Buddhist places of worship

Is there a Buddhist temple anywhere in Sri Lanka that does not have the Saiva Tamil woman Kannagi?

I have been talking to senior Buddhist leaders about this. They accept the logic of what I am saying.

They support my view that Hindus and Buddhists should live in this Sri Lankan land in a natural, sweet, and loving manner.
