16 ஆண்டுகளுக்கு முன் பெரும் தோல்வி, படுதோல்வி. 13 அரசுகள் எதிரிக்கு சார்பானதாலும் தோல்வி.

போராட்டங்கள்.

போராட்ட உணர்வு மதிக்க வேண்டியதே. 

மேலாதிக்கத்துக்கு எதிரான போராட்ட உணர்வு.

போராட்ட உணர்வு தொடர்ச்சியானது. 

மனித மனத்தில் மங்காதது. 

போராட்டம் ஒரு கருவியே.  

போராட்டமே வாழ்வு அன்று. 

60 ஆண்டுகளான போராட்ட நிலையோ வேறென்ன காரணமோ எதிர்ப்புணர்வைத் தமிழ் ஈழ மக்கள் எங்கிருந்தாலும் ஒவ்வொருவரும் எல்லையற்று வளர்த்துள்ளனர்.

எதை எதிர்ப்பது?

எதை எதிர்க்க கூடாது?

எதிர்ப்பதில் 

எதற்கு போராடுவது? 

எதற்கு போராடக்கூடாது? 

போராடுவதானால் எந்த வழி? 

கருத்து வழியா? 

செயல் வழியா? 

கருத்து வழியெனில் எவ்வாறு வெளிக் கொணர்வது?

எழுத்து வழியா? பேச்சு வழியா? கலை வடிவ வழியா? அல்லது அனைத்தும் கலந்த அளவுகளிலா? 

கருத்துகளை மக்களிடம் கொண்டு சேர்ப்பது எவ்வாறு? 

கருத்துகளுக்கு ஆதரவு திரட்டுவது எவ்வாறு?

செயல் வழியாயின் தன்னை ஈந்தா? ஒத்தவர்களையும் ஈந்தா?

செயல்வழியில் ஈடுபடாதவர்கள் ஒப்பாதவர்கள் துன்பம் அடைவார்களா?

கருத்து வழியாயின் 

செயல்வழியாயின் 

பட்டறிவு என்ன? 

கற்ற பாடங்கள் என்ன? 

முன்பு நாம் விட்ட பிழைகள் தவறுகள் தடங்கல்களாக தடுப்புகளாக பின் தள்ளியவையாக தோல்விக்கானவைகளாக இருப்பின் அவற்றை மீண்டும் முன்னெடுக்காமல் மாற்று வழிகளைத் தேர்ந்தெடுக்க வேண்டாமா?

எதிர்த்தோம் எதிர்க்கிறோம் எதிர்ப்போம் 

போராடினோம் போராடுகிறோம் போராடுவோம் 

இவை ஒன்றே நமக்குத் தெரிந்த வழியா? 

அறிவும் ஆற்றலும் திறமையும் புலமையும் ஓடி ஒளிந்தனவா? 

ஆயிரம் மலர்கள் மலரட்டுமே என்ற அகன்ற விரிந்த பரந்த நோக்கமும் பார்வையும் எங்களை விட்டு அகன்றனவா? 

பகுப்பாய்வும் கொள்கை வகுப்பும் அற்ற கருத்துத் திணிப்பும் ஒருங்கமையாத ஒருங்கிணைக்காத தன்னிச்சையான தான்தோன்றித்தனமான கருத்துகளும் செயல்களும் வெளிப்பாடுகளும் எல்லை மீறிக் கட்டுக்கடங்காமல் காட்டு வெள்ளமாக மாறினவா?

அறிவு என்னும் அணையும் 

அன்பு என்னும் அரவணைப்பும் 

அருள் பெருக்கும் கண்ணோட்டமும் 

அறத்துக்குள் நிற்கின்ற வாழ்வும் 

இவை இல்லாத வாழ்வியல் முன்னெடுப்புகள், மலர்ச்சிக்கான முயற்சிகள் வளர்ச்சிக்கான திட்டமிடல் யாவும் தோல்விக்கு மேல் தோல்வியைத் தொடர்ந்து தருமல்லவா?

ஆகா, இப்படி ஒரு முதிர்ச்சியற்ற சமூகம் சமுதாயம் இனம் மக்கள் இருக்கிறார்களே இவர்களை 

எளிதில் மேலாதிக்கத்துள் கொண்டு வரலாம் 

எளிதில் மதமாற்றம் செய்துவிடலாம் 

எளிதில் இவர்கள் மரபுகளை உடைத்து விடலாம்  

இவர்களை அடக்கி விடலாம் ஒடுக்கி விடலாம் அழித்துவிடலாம் 

என்ற நிலை ஏற்படலாம் அல்லவா? 

நயமிக்க நாகரீகரைக் கொடுங் காட்டுமிராண்டிகளே மோதலில் போரில் எப்பொழுதும் வென்றுள்ளார்கள் என்ற வரலாறு நமக்குப் பாடமாக அமையாதா? 

இலக்குகளற்ற எதிர்ப்புகளை வாழ்வாகக் கொள்ளாதீர். ஈழநாடு இதழில் உங்கள் தலையங்கம் உணர்த்தும் செய்தி. 

ஈழத் தமிழ் மக்களுக்கு நல் வழிகாட்டும் செய்தி.

I read your editorial titled " Objectives sans Protests".

16 years ago, a major defeat, a crushing defeat. 13 governments supported the enemy. We were defeated.

30 years of non-violent resistance 

30 years of violence. 

The spirit of struggle must be respected.

The spirit of struggle is against hegemony.

The spirit of struggle is continuous.

It does not fade in the human mind.

Struggle is a tool.

Struggle is not life itself.

The 60 years of struggle or may be other reasons have endlessly cultivated the habit of opposing anything and everything by the Tamil Eelam people, wherever they are.

What to oppose?

What not to oppose?

In opposition,

Why fight?

Why not fight?

If we fight, what way?

Is it through ideas?

Is it through action?

If it is through ideas, how do we express it?

Is it through writing? Is it through speech? Is it through art? Or is it a combination of all of them?

How do we get the ideas to the people?

How do we gather support for ideas?

If it is through action, do we sacrifice ourselves? Do we sacrifice like-minded people?

Will those who do not engage in action and those who do not agree, suffer?

If it is through ideas,

If it is through action,

what is wisdom?

What are the lessons learned?

If the mistakes we made in the past are obstacles, setbacks, and failures, shouldn't we choose alternative ways instead of repeating them?

Through ideas and action,

We opposed, we will oppose,

We fought, we will fight,

Are these the only ways we know?

Have knowledge, power, talent, and scholarship fled and hid?

Have the broad, expansive purpose and vision that a thousand flowers bloom departed from us?

Have the imposition of ideas without analysis and principle, the uncoordinated, arbitrary, ideas, actions, and expressions, gone beyond the limits and become an uncontrollable, like wild flood?

The bund of knowledge, the embrace of love, the perspective that increases grace, and the life that stands within virtue

Without these, will not all life initiatives, efforts for flourishing, and planning for development continue to yield failure after failure?

Ah, there is such an immature society, community, race, people that

can easily be brought into dominance

can easily be converted

can easily break their traditions

can suppress them, destroy them

can it not happen?

Isn't history a lesson for us that barbarians who by conquest of civilized societies have always won in conflict and war?

Don't make aimless protests your life. Your editorial in Eelam Nadu magazine is an enlightening message.

A message that guides the Tamil people of Eelam.
